About the Course

Are you looking to deepen your understanding of Racial Reconciliation in an honest, grace-filled environment?

Then you've come to the right place!

At MISSION RECONCILE, we believe we learn and grow best by listening to and learning from one another. That's why we invite you to join us for Foundations of Racial Reconciliation— a virtual course held on Zoom where we gather together weekly to learn and discuss authentically and thoughtfully on race and racism and the concepts that move the body of faith toward reconciliation.

The class includes three sessions to educate you on Reconciliation vs Conciliation, Diversity, and common language around Identity & Privilege, with times of personal sharing, facilitated small group discussion, and classroom style learning.

Whether you're just starting out on your path to reconciliation, or are looking for a refresher to deepen your understanding with a community, this course is for you. Along the way, you will find many opportunities for connections and building relationships with fellow reconcilers. The learning will bring awareness of the intersection of diversity, equity and inclusion and biblical reconciliation that will impact participants' personal, spiritual and work life.

The class is led by Kahlida Lloyd, founder of MISSION RECONCILE. A donation to MISSION RECONCILE, a nonprofit that facilitates safe spaces for conversations on racial reconciliation with faith communities in the Deep South and beyond is appreciated.

We can’t wait for you to join the conversation!
